24Km - Devils Dyke to Upper Beeding, Nov 2015

After the tail of Hurricane Abigale and when the whole of Britain faces 10 days of storms as ex-hurricane Kate hits with 8 inches of rain and floods this weekend. We finked it would be a good idea to hike 24 km along the South Downs from the Devils Dyke to River Adur circular

Dog day afternoon.....................NOT!

The Devils Dyke pub sits majestically on the hill to the right (thats wot dad says)

We is only a couple of kilometers in to the walk and Brae is as dirty as a dirty fing - so we tied him to this post so the rain could wash him off.

We waited for Ken to fall over - but he didn't

We waited for anyone to fall over - but they didn't

This was a big hill that Brae did wun down. He wunned so quick that we couldn't take a picture of him.

Wilson did complain to his dad that me and Brae wouldn't play the "who has the biggest spot on their tung game" Lasky never played it before so he didn't know that Wilson cheats.

I is halfway up an hill - Brae is halfway down.

Me and Brae telled Lasky off for getting dirty.

Then me and Lasky telled Brae off for getting dirty - Brae was too busy watching someone eat a sarnie. (Brae goes deaf when there is food around)

It rained so hard that we stopped in a bus shelter fing while dad did have a pie.

This is the que for the figgy biskits.

Nathaniel did bring a washing line wiv him instead of waterproof trousers.

I finked you would like to see my bum.

It did get very windy on this hill so we had to squint to see anyfing

It did also get very rainy so we had to squint again

This is Ken and Lasky - they is as wet as a ........erm........Otter

This is the squeaky sign post at the Devils Dyke Pub

This is the squeaky sign in action.

We stopped at the pub where all the peeples did drink doom bar. We did our best to make the floor grubby by laying on it.

We is looking dirty and forlorn.

I is as cool as a cucumber, but Brae has got the wusk cos he has got to have a barf. He said we should hide under this towel so dad couldn't find us - he's a bit bonkers sometimes.

We did have a barf and slept like babies and when we gettid up we was clean and fluffy

I did gaze into the wind to show of my fluffy coat - Brae sniffed some wee

I fink Brae cleaned up rather well too

This is a map wiv colours on it

Me and Brae did sit in the gob of this big Caterpillar fing as we valiantly conquered its ass.

Brae is deliriously happy - and we is like a couple of kids.

25K Circular walk from Lewes, Castle Hill Nature Reserve, East Sussex.

We did a big stomp in the South Downs starting from Lewes

This is a stupid windmill that did try and hide in a cloud, but me and Brae spotted it before it escaped.

Me and Brae wiv dad

I did find sumfing good to sniff while Brea was watching cobwebs. He finked it would be funny to eat a spider. I telled him that it would build a web in his tummy and trap all the food so he could'nt have any more food........ever. That made him cry so I did larf at my own joke

This is Brae after he sicked the spider out, he is much happier now. I is lookin majestically at the misty horizon towards Telscombe Cliff .

Someone made the mistake of getting a sand-wich out so me n Brae dribbled a lot until he gived us a crisp.

The grass was very wet and the clouds did start to bugger-off so I could see a lot further. There wasn't much to see though so I just finked about sumfing else.

Brae was looking hard at a leaf cos he was scared there might be anuvver spider. Then Frank sneaked up to do a photo-bomb. I didnt smell it but Brae said it was orrible.

We sat and looked at some norty sheeps.

If you look really hard you can see............erm.............erm.............I dunno, it was there a minute ago.

We steeled a drink from this orsey troff.

Me and Frank was havin a drink while Brae talked to an orse. I dunno why cos he cant talk orse langwidge.

We pertended to be chased by this giant farm fing.

Brae showed Martin his bum and we did scoff sum fig biskits.

We did have lots of big views and big hills to clime.

We all sticked our tungs out to see who had got a lucky spot on it. Wilson did win. I don't know why we play this game, cos Wilson always wins.

This is the last hill to go down.

Brae sat down and pulled his 'stupid' face - he does that a lot cos I finked he has lost his marbles sometimes.

This is the way down so I asked Brae wevver he wanted to wun down with me.

So he did.

When we gotted home I did sleep on Brae.

Martin did colour this map in so he didn't get lost

Day of the Blood Moon

Hargate Forest and the Blood Moon

This is the second pond we did find to jumpsy in - I telled Brae not to drink it but he said that he wasn't and that he was huffing at it to create steam like a dragon. I finked he was stupid so i telled him to get out....

This was me - it was lonely without Brae huffing in the water.

I asked mum to chase me - but she didn't hear me cos she has got hair over her earholes.

I shouted at a squiggle-fing to come down out of the tree but it didn't cos Brae would have eated it wiv his teef

Brae telled me a blow-off joke but it wasnt funny

Brae wunned away and came back again - but this time he cummed back as a wolf

We did do sum jousting.....erm.........without..........lances

There was a blood moon and dad said we could go and howl at it, so i sticked my tung out and dribbled

Brae grumbled a bit which sounded like a rubbish howl.

In the morning, the moon was still floatin about in the sky

There was also sumfing floating in a tree, so we looked really hard to see if we could spot it

Dad said i had to sit down in front of the moon cos it was a special one.
